John Etheridge
🚨 Founder & Director
🚨 John founded Etheridge Construction in 1983 with a simple rule: do the job right, first time. More than forty years on, he still oversees every project and brings decades of hands-on experience to each build.
🚨 Builders in Christchurch since 1983.
🚨 A small, experienced building firm. The people who quote your job are the people who build it.
🚨 Four decades of building, and the same standard on every job.
🚨 Etheridge Construction was founded in Christchurch in 1983 by John Etheridge. Since then we've built new homes, extensions and loft conversions, and renovated houses across Christchurch, Bournemouth and the wider Dorset and Hampshire area.
We've stayed deliberately small. Every project gets our full attention, and from your first call to the final handover you deal directly with the people running the job. No middlemen, no surprises.
Our reputation has been built on honest communication, careful workmanship, and projects delivered on time and to budget.
🚨 How we work.
- 🚨 You deal with the builders.
- 🚨 From the first site visit to the final walk-round, you speak to the people responsible for your job, not a sales team.
- 🚨 Clear quotes, no surprises.
- 🚨 We price the work properly up front, and we talk to you before anything changes, not after.
- 🚨 Tidy, secure sites.
- 🚨 Sites are fenced, organised and kept safe, with respect for your home and your neighbours.
- 🚨 Fully insured.
- 🚨 Etheridge Construction Ltd is fully insured for the work we carry out.
- 🚨 Local, for forty years.
- 🚨 Based on Walkford Road in Christchurch, building across Dorset and Hampshire since 1983.
🚨 The team on site.
🚨 When you call Etheridge Construction, you talk to the people who will actually be building your project.
Curtis Etheridge
🚨 Director
🚨 Curtis runs day-to-day operations and client relationships, and brings modern construction methods to every job. He's the person keeping your build on programme and keeping you in the loop.
🚨 What clients say.
🚨 Etheridge Construction built our extension and we couldn't be happier. From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, John and Curtis were professional, communicative, and the quality of the work is outstanding. Would recommend without hesitation.
🚨 We had a full loft conversion done and the transformation is incredible. Curtis kept us informed throughout the whole process and the team were clean, respectful, and brilliant. The new bedroom has completely changed how we use our home.
🚨 John built our new home from the ground up and it was a genuinely positive experience. His knowledge and attention to detail are second to none. Forty years in the trade really shows. We have a home we're proud of and total peace of mind it's been built properly.
🚨 Tell us what you're planning.
🚨 Full drawings or just an idea, we're happy to talk it through. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
